I took Rose to her physical therapy appointment this morning. Three weeks ago, at her last appointment, Rose was working on sitting up, but still toppling over if she didn't have a little support. Trevor has been working a lot with her on her sitting and standing muscles and we've seen a lot of improvement. Here's our little lady sitting proud:
Even though Rose is making leaps and bounds in some areas, the torticollis is still a major issue. Rose's neck is still very tight on the right side. Our PT sternly instructed me today that our number one goal over the next few weeks is getting that neck loosened up. She sent us home with lots of good stretching instructions. Our second goal is to work on building strength in Rose's right shoulder, or in other words, lots of baby push-ups!
Rose is still dealing with her first cold, which she has kindly shared with her mom and dad, too. We're a snotty, sleepy house right now.
I'll leave you with a picture of Rose Marmalading (as the Livingstons would say).
